Nick S. Aguilar, MD brings more than 20 years of family practice experience to Aguilar Family Health Care. He is a graduate of Central Catholic High School and obtained his undergraduate degree from St. Mary’s University followed by his medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio.

After medical school, Dr. Aguilar completed his residency in South Texas at the McAllen Family Practice Residency Program. He spent five years in the National Health Service Corp serving rural communities such as Tonopah, NV, Raymondville, TX and Harlingen, TX. He then spent five years serving San Antonio’s community through a local medical group.

Dr. Aguilar is board certified through the American Board of Family Practice and is a member of the Texas Academy of Family Physicians, and the American Academy of Family Physicians.

In his free time, Dr. Aguilar enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, watching movies and fishing.

​John Paul Nieto, PA-C is a certified physician assistant by the Texas medical board and the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.

He was born and raised in San Antonio and a graduate from Earl Warren High school and the University of Texas at San Antonio. In 2016, John Paul graduated from the PA program at Butler University in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Upon graduating, he returned to his hometown to serve his community and start his career in family medicine.

In his free time he likes to watch sports, spend time with his family, and enjoy the outdoors.

Karla J. Gracia is a Physician Assistant certified by the Texas Medical Board and the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. Originally from South Texas, she moved to San Antonio to attend The University of Texas at San Antonio, where she received her Bachelor’s Degree. Then later attended the University of Texas Health Science Center and received her Masters’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies, where she graduated with honors.

She is currently a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Texas Academy of Physician Assistants. In her free time, she loves spending time with her family, traveling and watching movies.
